By mounting the adapter to the light, users can rig the Storm 80c in a variety of locations and positions, eliminating the light's removable yoke. The adapter can also be used as a secondary mounting point for the Storm 80c as well as other Storm lights and the Electro Storm lights so that safety rods and anti-vibration rigging can secure the fixtures in place.
